The final element that makes up The Living Room is The Living Room itself! We aim for this to be a place of hope, a space where people can feel supported, encouraged and inspired. It's our half time team talk that equips us for the world that we're a part of.

The second of the core elements of the Living Room is 'The Table'. When we sit around our tables, we're setting time aside to develop our relationships. Those times around the table create a space and an environment where, through conversation, we can understand more about each other and begin to push each other towards purpose.

None of us feel comfortable when our weaknesses are exposed. We'll often do our best to hide weakness and hope that no-one uncovers it. But what we have to understand is that weakness can also pave the way for a strength to form with in us. We don't need to be afraid or ashamed, if we choose to allow it to positively shape us; our weakness could be the very thing that defines us.

In Jesus name, amen. It's a common way to end a prayer, but do we really realise what we're saying. Is that phrase the way of adding a bit more power to our words? or maybe it's a way of convincing God to act on our behalf. Today we take a look at what Jesus was requesting of us and the impact that can be had when we begin to work 'in his name'.

In the bible, there are a number of times that we see Jesus arrive in a scenario and, rather than just stating the obvious, he'll often ask a different kind of question. In that moment, he's teaching us a lesson. What seems obvious in a moment may not be the most important thing to address. So, if Jesus was to walk up to you, what would your answer be to His question: What do you want me to do for you?
