What does it mean to walk with God? Does it mean following the ten commandments to the letter? Does it mean devoting at least 10% of your income to the church? As Pastor Danny explains to us in today’s message, to walk with God is to walk in love. If you don’t love Him and love your neighbor – you aren’t walking with God. Following those rules and regulations can be good, but only if they are motivated by your love for God and your desire to live a life that honors and glorifies Him.

It’s hard to confess sin. Especially before men. Despite the fact that every one of us has sinned, and continues to sin, we are so quick to condemn our fellow man when he falls. As Pastor Danny reminds us in today’s message, the Good News is that God is much different. He hates sin, but He loves the sinner dearly. Through Christ, He’s ready to forgive, and though some will condemn you, it’s always best to bring your sin out in the open where God will forgive you and your fellow believers can help you overcome.

All of us sin. It’s a part of being human. Even once you’ve accepted salvation through Christ, you’ll still find yourself falling into sin – even on a daily basis. As Pastor Danny explains in today’s message, you’ll see this demonstrated all throughout Scripture. Even the most respected characters you’ll read about fell prey to their flesh. The thing that distinguished the righteous from the unrighteous wasn’t their ability to avoid sin, but their readiness to humble themselves and ask God for forgiveness and help.

It’s hard to wrap your mind around the scale of God’s grace. As humans, there are certain sins we have a really hard time forgiving – and for good reason. Some sins have more of an outward impact, while others may only effect the individual carrying them out. Yet, even the worst sin you can think of, Jesus stands ready to offer redemption for it. As Pastor Danny explains in today’s message, Jesus suffered through the cross to bring forgiveness for you – no matter what you’ve done.

Sadly, many believers walk into the doors of their churches on Sunday and walk out a couple of hours later without ever really connecting with their fellow believers. While it’s good that they come at all, they’re missing out on the most critical element of being part of the Church. As Pastor Danny explains in today’s message, God designed this body to be in fellowship with each other. This doesn’t mean simply standing side by side through a worship service, but interacting with honesty, vulnerability and accountability.
