The Gospel is for all people. Jesus’ final words to His disciples before ascending to Heaven were to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel…” The only problem is, this brings diversity into the Church, and whenever people from different cultural backgrounds come together, there’s bound to be some conflict. As Pastor Danny will encourage us in today’s message, while diversity in the Church presents a challenge, it’s nothing that the unifying love of Christ can’t overcome.

Salvation is a free gift, but it does come with a cost. You will experience persecution because of your faith in Christ. It may be as harmless as a few cruel words here and there, or, as has happened to thousands of believers through the years, it may even cost you your life. But, as Pastor Danny will encourage us in today’s message, as painful as this life can be, you can rejoice in knowing the promise you have in Christ. You will live with Him for eternity in a new body, free of pain and persecution.

Many of us find the book of Revelation intimidating… even frightening. The images and events that John saw in his vision are hard to decipher and they may not seem to offer much by way of application. But, in today’s message, Pastor Danny will encourage you to approach this book with boldness and optimism, not fear. God didn’t give us this book to instill anxiety, but instead hope. Ultimately it’s not a story of destruction but of the reunion of a Bride and Groom.

Many people today prefer to ignore restrictive or intolerable parts of scripture. They blame preachers and Christian leadership for taking them out of context and misinterpreting their meaning for the modern world. They want to take all the warm fuzzy stuff about God's love but they don't want His righteousness or justice. As Pastor Danny will remind you in today's message, to reject any one aspect of who God is to reject God altogether and choose eternal separation from Him.

As Paul sailed for Rome, as a prisoner on an ancient grain ship, he encountered a life threatening storm. As Pastor Danny examines the account of this journey in today’s message, he will remind you that not all the storms of life are unavoidable. Certainly God allows some of those storms as an opportunity for you to grow in your faith, but many storms are a direct result of our own rebellion. If you simply would follow the guidance that God gives you, you could have avoided them altogether.

Much of the world lives as though this short life is all there is. This mindset is exemplified in the popular saying: “You only live once”. Some people take this approach and try to extend their life by whatever means possible, while others try to fill their time with as much pleasure as they can. As Pastor Danny will explain in today’s message, as a follower of Jesus, you know there is more than just this physical world. The choices you make now have spiritual and eternal consequences.

God hates sin and because He is just, He can’t allow it to go unpunished. Yet, as Pastor Danny will explain in today’s message, even the worst of sinners – men and women that have committed horrific acts of violence or abuse against others – are loved by God. He desires to turn them around, just like Paul, the former persecutor and murderer of Christians.
