There are some core beliefs that we hold onto in the church. A prime example is that Jesus was God's son, became man, died for our sins and was resurrected. If someone disagrees with that truth then they are not truly a member of God's church. But there are many areas of scripture that leave a little gray in. While we should seek how to live out a life that glorifies God as much as possible, in today's message Pastor Danny will remind us to be gracious in matters that don't affect salvation of the soul.

When you face rejection when sharing the Gospel it can be very discouraging. You are trying to share life saving truth with them, a free gift of grace and they are brushing it off or even shutting you down outright. When it is someone close to you that rejection is even more painful. In today's message Pastor Danny will encourage you to just keep on trying and keep sharing Jesus. Don't give up hope even if it takes years! Every heart can be softened by God's amazing love.

God can and will move with or without your help. You can either choose to be apart of that movement or you can choose to serve your own agenda. In the end which do you think will be more rewarding? Which will be of more eternal consequence? In today's message, Pastor Danny will draw our attention to the way that God moved in and amongst the gentiles. It was always God's will to reach the Jews and the Gentiles, but sadly many Jews were to hard hearted and completely missed it.

What's the point of being a Christian if it doesn't change your life? Really, there is none. Being a follower of Jesus means that there is an active role that He is playing in your everyday activities. He is transforming you into a different person moment by moment. You are spending time learning more about Jesus and making changes to be more like Him. Pastor Danny reminds you today to keep doing the work. Keep learning. Keep showing up. Keep growing. You might not do it perfectly but you need to keep doing it.

You have to take Satan seriously. He is no match for our Savior, but when we grow complacent cruising through life on our own we open ourselves up to the prince of lies. He will come in and convince us that our comfort is more important than our mission. As Pastor Danny will point out in today's message, when you're in Christ you can rest assured that your eternity is secure. But that doesn't mean that the enemy is going to leave you alone. He loves to rob us of the fullness of joy that God has for us.

But it is also easy to understand that food and drink cannot bring you closer to God. Thankfully in our new covenant with the Lord, sealed with the blood of Jesus, all food is clean and worthy to eat. Our salvation isn't earned by eating the right foods, it's a free gift given to all who believe in the saving power of Jesus Christ.

It might seem like the miracles that happened in the Bible just don't happen anymore. That Americans just don't seem to experience signs and wonders like other nations. Today, Pastor Danny shares that the Lord still works in wonderous ways, you just have to have your heart in the proper position. Part of experiencing miracles is that you need to get your feet wet. You need to step out of the boat in obedience. Try giving to the church until it hurts a little. The reward of the Lord's deliverance will be worth the mild discomfort.
