The Living Word

You aren't guaranteed another minute in this world. None of us are. When you live with this awareness it brings a sense of urgency to your life. What are you investing yourself in? In momentary pleasures or in building wealth? Whatever it might be even if it's something good and noble if it takes priority over your relationship with Christ and the mission that He has given you it needs to be taken down a notch. Today, Pastor Danny will challenge us to wake up and to fix our ees on what really matters.

There are any number of reasons that people don't serve in the church. You might not know what you're gifted for. You might start and face opposition and then want to quit or you might simply be fearful to step out in faith. Today, Pastor Danny simply calls you to just begin. Everyone has a gift for serving in the church. Find a place to serve and try it or follow the desire that God has placed in your heart. He'll reveal what you're gifted for and He will thoroughly equip you to do what He has called you to do.

Pastor Danny teaches today that discovering God's will for your life is a lifelong step by step journey. As you trust in Him, He'll reveal a little at a time guiding you to the next step. He'll give you the desires in your heart. He'll call you to serve the body. He'll whisper what to do. As a child, follow and trust Him in each moment and you'll find God's will for your life.

This world will tempt you in many ways, all to conform you to its likeness. Wicked, rebellious and far from God. Yet, Paul encourages you to instead be transformed into the likeness of Jesus. Give your life over to God, submit to His will, and let Him change you in all the best ways. Pastor Danny will offer practical ways for you to resist the world and be transformed into Christ's likeness. Submit your lives to Him, regularly read the Word, and trust God with your future. He's got you for eternity.

Pastor Danny encourages you to offer yourself as a living sacrifice in response to His love. It won't be easy and it will require daily choice, but God deserves your life and your heart cause He has given you so much.

Have you ever noticed how sometimes scripture will repeat itself? As you listen to today's message from Pastor Danny, he explains to you that whenever you see scripture repeating itself it is something the Lord wants you to notice. It is not there by accident or simply there by redundancy. It is there for you to take hold of and understand. Pastor Danny shares that the Bible will often repeat itself about not having fear and to trust in the Lord and the promise of victory. These themes are God's gentle reassurances

Are their people you love in your life that you're convinced that they'll never believe in Jesus and be saved? Their hearts are hardened by religion and ritual or maybe they're really deep in rebellious sinful living. It is really easy to give up praying and pleading for God to grab ahold of them. It can be so discouraging to think that those prayers will never be answered. But today, Pastor Danny implores you to not give up praying. God saves even the worst of sinners and the hardest of hearts. He's always working.

Pastor Danny explains that the religious heritage of the jews wasn't able to save them and their pride didn't allow them to see the true gift of salvation that God was offering through Jesus. Jesus came for those who recognized their desperate need and would believe in Him. He went out of His way to share this good news with the desperate. Will you?

Today Pastor Danny explains the simplicity of the Gospel message. It's good news. Jesus came to earth, He died on the cross for you sins and was raised to life to live forever with you. All you have to do is to believe and to be saved. It's the most important message that there is. It is crucial to share this good news with the world. You're God's ambassador, called to tell others how they can be saved.
