Psalm 143 is really about trusting God when life feels heavy and you do not know what to do next. The psalmist asks God for mercy because he knows no one is perfect, but he also knows God is faithful and righteous. Even though he feels crushed, overwhelmed, and surrounded by darkness, he chooses to remember everything God has done before, and that gives him hope and reminds him to depend on God. He asks God to help him, show him the right path, teach him to do His will, and let His Spirit lead him. This chapter also reminds us not to run away from God when life gets hard. I know from personal experience that turning away from God during difficult seasons only makes things worse. Instead, we should keep praying, reading Scripture, staying humble, and trusting that God is still working. We should never take for granted the freedom we have to seek Him because those opportunities may not always be available. No matter what we are facing, God is our refuge, and He will bring deliverance, whether by changing our circumstances or renewing our hearts and minds.

Times of Difficulty

Life can become especially challenging when we face criticism, rejection, betrayal, or a lack of support from family members, coworkers, friends, or others around us. In these moments, God’s Word reminds us that we are never alone. He sees our pain, walks with us through every trial, and uses even difficult circumstances for our good and His glory.

Putting on the armor of God is so important. I pray help someone to know the armor a little more.

What kind of thoughts and ideas come out of your mouth? Well, whatever comes out of your mouth is what’s in your heart. We all need a new heart in Christ and we get that through his word, his spirit and submission unto his ways and authority.

These scriptures show us that diligence and hard work in the Lord and for the Lord pays off. If we live right according to his ways, we will be successful.
