🏈🔥 WEEK 1 IS HERE, AND THE COACHES ARE READY! 🎙️

Football season is officially back, and this week on The Local Sports Podcast we’re getting ready for Week 1 with three coaches who have spent all summer preparing their teams for Friday night.

🎙️ Today on The Local Sports Podcast, we had the privilege of sitting down with Pastor Matthew Thompson and Associate Pastor Tony Shackleford of Elevation Life Church.

What started as a conversation about a construction project quickly turned into a discussion about faith, vision, perseverance, and trusting God's plan.

We talked about the transformation of Elevation Life Church's campus and the unique opportunity TKVandy had to help expand the sanctuary while preserving the character and history of this longtime Temple of God facility. The project blended modern design elements with the church's historic roots, creating a space that honors the past while preparing for the future.

More importantly, we discussed the message that resonates with so many people today: "Give It to God."

Whether it's stress, addiction, fear, uncertainty, financial struggles, broken relationships, or simply the burdens we carry every day, there comes a point where we have to stop trying to control everything ourselves and place it in God's hands. Pastor Matthew and Pastor Tony shared powerful insights about faith, surrender, and finding peace through trusting Him.

It was an encouraging conversation about building more than a church building—it's about building people, families, and a stronger community.
