Rattling Kind have a fresh sound straight from the streets of Dublin, shaping traditional and folk music with a modern indie-rock edge. The Rattling Kind hit Ashtown Recording Studios in the summer of 2013 aiming to capture and truly encapsulate their on-stage dynamism. Galway musician Ultan Conlon talks to Johnny Bowe on Radio Nova’s Locals Only. Ultan sometimes plays with session guys but mainly preforms solo. He writes all his own material and was obsessed with guitars from a very young age. Ultan preforms a unique rendition of his song ‘in the mad’ with a second hand guitar he got in the gem of a music shop ‘some neck guitars’ Dublin.

This Pink Floyd Tribute band Green Floyd were booked straight away for Rockathon 2014. They play “wish you were here” on Radio Nova’s Locals Only show. A fantastic sound, they can cover Pink Floyd’s music so well it’s hard to tell they’re a tribute band and not the real thing.
