Since 1912 the Log Cabin Church has been an accepting and welcoming community. She has  just reached a special anniversary of celebrating 110 years of service.  Our guest speaker at our service was  Jessica Gill the CEO  of NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity.  Jessica shared the rich history Habitat has here in our community but also around the world.  In a world often filled with troubling news, we are inspired by organizations that are dedicated to helping eliminate suffering  and being a positive light in an often dark world.

What would be an extravagance in your life? A fancy dinner out, a swiss watch, or a luxury vacation.  In the gospel of John we read about Mary taking her expensive perfume and using it to annoint Jesus at a dinner given in his honor.
