Aidan Styles started Baylands Brewery from just being a hobby in 2008 to brewing beers in the garage since 2012. They have then needed to expand and move to Petone in Lower Hutt. Baylands Brewery is one of the best local craft beer breweries in the Hutt Valley and around the Wellington area. Even though Baylands Brewery considers themselves as Craft Independent locally in Petone, their craft beer products are distributed not just around Hutt Valley and Wellington but also across New Zealand.
