Starting off the new year with talk of some British comfort foods to get you through this winter!

We're keeping the holidays going this Boxing Day with some short stories from some of Britain's favorite authors. Kate starts us out with Neil Gaiman's “Hanukah With Bells On”, and Lia rounds out the episode with some Letters from Santa by JRR Tolkien.

Switching it up a little with Kate focusing on the Royal Family with the love story of Mary of Teck and George V, and Lia tells us about the amazing life of Robin and Diana Cavendish.

This week we're going way back to some of the first Queens of Britain. We're talking about Boudicca the Warrior Queen, and some of the shifty moves made by Queen Elfthryth.
