During a recent archaeology fieldwork project, I was tasked with being a team leader. During this time, I was reminded that being a leader isn't all that it's cracked up to be. And that it can be lonely at the top. Regardless, as a leader, I knew that I had to do the best that I could to better myself, look after my team, and accomplish the mission. In this solocast, I talk about my recent experiences as an archaeology team leader, why leadership is a lonely place to be, and how to improve as a leader.
