Back to Back feature episode. I ponder on a line I wrote on my phone on a drunken evening, "Living Life - Were all just here for the ride."

With the inevitable reality than we are on borrowed time from the day we are born, to the day we say goodbye, I muse on what makes life, the aforementioned "journey", special. Do we  all want to leave a legacy? Are the conditions on which you were born into set you up for success or failure? What does the role of religion and philosophy play into how we interpret this journeys path. Lets discuss.

I discuss my unusually long hiatus due to work, the struggle of stating up again on my own here in the province, and how I analyzed my finances after a month of evaluating my expenses and oh boy, they are a lot!

How do we get rich? This is a concern of mine being a middle class salaryman that still lives with his parents. The Algebra of Wealth is a video by Scott Galloway, known author and professor in Brand Strategy in NYU Stern. This vide I happened upon around last year and still resonates with my and how I perceive my career aspirations and of course, how to secure my financial future. I try to interpret his formula into the Filipino Millennial context, and what my own personal actions would be after watching this video for atleast 30 times already.

I had a friend that asked me how much my extra bike was, and we happened upon how buying something online, even with the availability and convenience, is still sub-par to the on site retail experience my a lot! Lets find out together.

I'm 29 this year, which is fun because I'll ne 30 next year! I explore personal and professional perception of what is my value to myself, my family, and society and general. 

2021? A solid 4/5 for me.

I look back on this year from the 3 main facets of my life, my work, my personal life, and the podcast. Using a rubric of 1 being the worst, and 5 being the best, I evaluate what the year has been for me, and what my goals will be for these three facets in the coming year.
