Airey said that the West Australian Football Commission should have been aware that the WACA and Optus Stadium would be in use and could have sought a better option.

The thrilling afternoon had one final surprise in store, when Millsy's probing, stark-mad producer Andrew Murdoch paid a visit to Broome's famous Nude Beach.

Sausage rolls were the last thing on the mind, with Andy going truly gonzo for his devilish story, stripping to his birthday suit to chat with fellow nudists on the shore.

We're not sure who took the photo - hopefully not Millsy's partner Trish, who's already endured her fair share of shenanigans this trip - but Andy showed his worth but delving deeper than most radio producers for his stark report.

The Broome Visitor Centre was the scene of Thursday's show, with Broome Tramway Co owner Matt Western giving Steve the VIP treatment, before the show took an enlightening turn when Greg Quicke, aka Space Gandalf, stopped by for a chat.

Quicke is a self-taught astronomer who started an astronomy business in 1995 with no idea it would still be going. His stargazing shows are world famous and a major tourism attraction in town.
