The prophet Isaiah spoke to a people who knew darkness: “Arise, shine, for your light has come.” On Easter morning, that promise stands fulfilled. The stone is rolled away. The grave is empty. The glory of the Lord has risen in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because He lives, we rise with Him. Because His light shines, we shine in His name. The Morning has come, and because Christ lives, we rise and shine in His light.
