Narrated in Cameron Pow's snide alto voice, The Long Sonata of the Dead is a library drama. In other words, it is the intriguing story of two academics - rivals, who were once upon a time roommates. Their shared goal: information on the long dead clergymen and poet Francis Youlgreave. While the story spins out into the streets of London and the homes of the character's families, the heart of the drama is inside the book-packed, ghost-ridden London Library. Listeners will enjoy Pow's wry presentation of this unique and unconventional drama.

A very fun, short listen. I love this author and his book The American Boy. I also enjoy biblio mysteries, and this one is enjoyable. I could see this as a book.
