In today's episode we are joined by Michael Pressman. Michael reflects on a career spanning more than four decades in film and television. From directing features such as Boulevard Nights and Some Kind of Hero to producing and directing acclaimed series including Picket Fences, Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, and Chicago Med, Pressman shares what it takes to tell compelling stories across changing formats and demanding production schedules.

As an anecdote, I like to mention how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secret of the Ooze & Bad News Bears in Breaking Training were both HUGE films for myself and my brother as we were growing up.

Fred Vogel is an American writer, director, actor, and special effects artist best known for creating the controversial cult horror series August Underground (2001–2007) and founding Toe Tag Productions. His work, including The Final Interview (2018) and Sella Turcica (2010), is noted for extreme realism in depicting violence. Vogel has also acted in indie horror films and continues to work across writing, directing, producing, and effects.
