Have a blessed Palm Sunday. Zechariah 9:9,10
The Coming King
9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.
10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
And the horse from Jerusalem;
The battle bow shall be cut off.
He shall speak peace to the nations;
His dominion shall be ‘from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.’
Matthew 21:5 “Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ” After this day, Jesus was ultimately crucified on what we now call Maundy Thursday, and Jesus was in Hell for 3 days where He took from Satan the keys of death. He then arose on the 3rd day and left the borrowed tomb.
And after the 3rd day after leaving from His borrowed tomb, Jesus walked with some of His disciples who were very troubled and they had no idea who He was yet, as written here in Luke 24:25 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. (Before this, in verse 10 of the same chapter of Luke 24, Luke records that it was Mary Magdalene and several more women who it was who first saw that Jesus was not in the tomb: (10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles. 11 And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. 12 But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.)
