What would it look like for you to block out space and time to sit with God and to listen for the Holy Spirit’s leading? Well, it’s tough because we fear change, but God wants what is good for you and finding time for rest, service and listening are keys to God’s call for sabbath time.

“For God so loved the world…” Many people know this bit of scripture, but without the verse that follows John 3:16 we miss the full picture. In this message, Pastor Paul tells the story of the Rainbow Man from the 70’s and 80’s who held up the John 3:16 sign at every major sporting event on TV. We also hear why it matters that God does care.

Thanks for listening!

The Holy Spirit surprises us with exactly what we need. What does it look like to experience the Holy Spirit at work in our lives? How do we know when we are being nudged or pushed (or pulled) into an experience that will help us reach our full potential , to grow, to love ourselves and others? Jesus is the Good Shepherd who loves all, even those who do not yet know him. We have circles, groups that we belong to, that we occupy. When we forget that our circles are part of something bigger, we miss the love of God for the other. On Earth Day 2018, we are reminded that the ALL that God loves goes beyond us to include ALL of creation!

Is it okay to have doubts? Is it okay to be skeptical? In today's message, Pastor Paul talks about these questions and what Jesus offers us in the midst of our questions, our doubts, and our skepticism.

“Peace be with you…” Jesus enters by surprise and offers a greeting of peace, but so much more. Thomas, the one we call “doubting” is really nothing more than you or me expressing our own doubts of faith and that’s okay, for in the end, we are given these accounts so that we might come to believe.
