Day 172 | Amos 1:1–6:14
The prophet Amos steps into history not as a priest or royal official, but as a farmer called by God to deliver a devastating message. In these chapters, the Lord begins by naming the sins of the surrounding nations—but quickly turns His judgment toward His own people. Israel had become indistinguishable from the world: oppressing the poor, embracing immorality, and forgetting the God who rescued them. Through Amos, God pleads with them to wake up, return, and live. This is a sobering call to examine our own lives—are we living like we’ve been redeemed, or like we've forgotten who we belong to?
Hosts: Noah Sidhom, Tanya Franks
