And as a parent, we are called to love and serve our children well, to love them unconditionally, and to raise them to be productive adults who impact the world that they touch. 1. Use "I" Statements: Encourage the child to use "I" statements when expressing their feelings or opinions. For example, "I feel frustrated when..." or "I would prefer if...".
