For as long as there have been tales to tell, there have been whispered warnings of hags. From legends of cruel yet wise seers prowling the fringes of civilization to cautionary tales of cursed, hate filled creatures in the form of haggardly crones, hags haunt the mythology and folk-stories of nearly every people. 

But what is the truth to these tales? Are these hideous creatures truly as abominable as their exterior indicates or are hags more than cruel, malicious monsters? Is a hag, fey, fiend, or friend?
