We constantly hear about threats to our democracy. But it is democracy that is threatening our freedom.

This podcast is going to be a little different than the others. Usually I identify a specific topic of government malfeasance, how it affects us and then postulate how the issue is treated in a free state. This time the problem is the way we think, or choose not to, and how that creates a society of oppressors and the oppressed. It is the suppression of our most human characteristic that leads to this situation and only by embracing this fundamental attribute can we live a free men and women.

Safety is a cruel god. Gun control, climate change, health care, the war of free speech are all examples of government doing things for our safety that are detrimental to our lives and liberty.
