The Lounge Presents

*Producer's Note: audio on Jay Boogie's channel had an echo, which we didn't realize until after; our apologies.

We were fortunate enough to have Brother Ali bless the lounge space to share his journey in hip hop culture and to tell us about Satisfied Soul, his latest album on Mello Music Group.

Satisfied Soul is available now on Bandcamp. Follow Brother Ali on all socials.

We were elated to welcome ILLJAY2 (Skratcher Winnipeg, USDJs) into the lounge space for the first time to share his journey in the culture, what happened at NAMM this past weekend and the recent restructuring of DMC Canada.

We finish 2024 strong with the inimitable Rob Swift, who just dropped The City of Hip Hop: New York City, The Bronx, and a Peace Meeting, which he co-authored with Rasul A Mowatt.

We had a great time chatting Vanguard of Style's Hannah, who shared her journey in the culture and how she found herself in her current position as the #1 ranked B-Girl in Australia.

RUSSELL! joined us in the lounge space for the first time and we had a great conversation about his journey in music - navigating the industry as a Filipino artist in North America and the Philippines - and got into the release of his latest full-length, Dearly Loved.

Dearly Loved is streaming on all platforms and RUSSELL! is about to tour in support of his latest release.

We welcomed Philth Spector for his first visit to the lounge space to share his come-up in the culture, the phenomenon that is Flipabeatclub and his latest release, The Sounds of Philthadelphia 4.

We will be commemorating 150 episodes with the alleged legend himself, Birdapres @birdapres
He will be touching down back in Winnipeg this Friday for his Fall '24 tour stop at Into the Music.
We look forward to welcoming Bird into the lounge space for the first time as we dig into his rich catalogue and journey in the culture.

J.O. Mairs & Heavy G are no strangers to the lounge space and we welcome the homies once again to talk about their new full-length dropping Friday, October 4, SZN 2.

It really is RUNXGUN szn with both having dropped solo records earlier this year and rounding out 2024 with a new RXG album.

Stay up on all tings RUNXGUN and tap in for SZN 2 on all platforms.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Queens' Creation co-founder and Legendary crew member Lynx into the lounge space to share her journey in the culture, offer her perspective on the 2024 Olympics and break down what to look forward to this weekend at Queens' Creation.

Dope episode and a must-watch.

Blessed to have Platurn in the lounge space to share his come-up in the culture and the influences that helped to shape the incredible record he's dropping 9/23, Through Storm & Grief.

The full-length will be available via Bandcamp so make sure and cop that.
