Today, I will like to highlight the islands of Caribbean, and address the misconceptions concerning some of these islands, by some Americans.

 Lets take a look at where the islands are actually located, the mispronunciation of some of the names, the languages spoken, the culture and the music. 

I have compiled a list, of Afro Americans with Caribbean roots, that you might have or have not known about, who have made great contributions to the United States of America, in profound ways.
