Acts 23:11

"...the Lord stood by him and said, "Be of

good cheer, Paul; for as you

have testified for Me in Jerusalem,

so

you must also bear witness at Rome."

Matthew 14:27

Jesus spoke to them, saying,

" Be of good

cheer! It is I;

do not be afraid."

MARK 10:49-50

Jesus stood still and commanded him to

be called.

Then they called the blind man, saying to him,

"Be of good

cheer. Rise, He is calling you."

And throwing aside his garment,

he

rose and came to Jesus.

Luke 8:48

And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good

cheer; your faith has made

you well. Go in peace."

JOHN 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, that in

Me you may have peace. In the

world you will have tribulation;

but be

of good cheer,

I have overcome the world

FORGIVEN.

VICTORIOUS.

HEALED.

CALLED.

FAITH.

PURPOSED.

Over the next 6 weeks, we will explore why one of Jesus’ favorite

phrases was "BE OF GOOD CHEER"

May The Lord of all grant you the

grace to see your blessings and walk

in His purposes and victory for

your life.

MATTHEW 9:2

"Then behold, they brought to Him a

paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus

saw their faith, He said to the

paralytic,

" Son, be of good cheer;

your sins are forgiven you."

1 CORINTHIANS 12:3-7

"There are different kinds of

spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the

source of them all. There

are different kinds of service, but we

serve the same Lord. God works

in different ways, but it is the same

God who does the work in all of

us.

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each

other"

Acts 2:41-42, 47

"Those who gladly received his word

were baptized; and that day about

three thousand souls were added to

them. And they continued

steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and

fellowship, in the

breaking of bread, and in prayers

...praising God

and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding

to

their number day by day those who were being saved."

Matthew 5:13-16

" You are the salt of the earth; but

if the salt loses its flavor,

how shall it be seasoned? It is then

good for nothing but to be

thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot

be

hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on

a

lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your

light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and

glorify your Father in heaven"
