Of course, the real standout is Linda Hunt in an Oscar winning (and history making) performance as Billy. This fantastic movie is about western print journalism in the age of eastern political chaos (sound familiar???????), and it stands out in the year 1982. Also listen in to hear John’s mini review of David Fincher’s “The Killer” starring Michael Fassbender, now on Netflix, and Dave’s minuscule review of “The Marvels”, which is Marvel’s lowest grossing (and one of the lowest rated) opening to date despite fantastic audience reviews.

So he made After Hours, a Hitchcock-inspired puzzle of a neo-noir shotgun indie that defines what a midlife crisis can be for a film maker. It's also apparently a comedy! We discuss our favorite Marty's, his conversations about the state of cinema, and this surprising film.
