 "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the nations; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the nations, saith the Lord of hosts." Malachi 1:11

This verse from Malachi gives us great vision for the nations!  Yes there is chaos going on in the nations but in the midst of it God is raising up a remnant who will offer up a pure offering.  

  There is a t-shirt that has gone around Christian circles that says "forgiven, not perfect".  While I get what is being communicated that we absolutely need the forgiveness of God it also seems to reflect an overall low view of our call to pursue holiness. 

There are people in the Bible that are referred to as being blameless like Noah, Job and Zechariah. Are you seeking to be blameless? Or are you going with the cultural pressure to just lower your standards and live half heartedly for God?

Be encouraged to go against the grain and be what God has called you to be as described in the following verse.

 Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Eph 1:4)

Continuing the theme of love we are looking at Mark 12 that connects the Shema with the 1st and 2nd commandment.  Be encouraged to hear the truth and live a life of love for God and those around you!

 A patriot for his country, a martyr for his faith or believers seeking to love those around them with the love of Yeshua...... all of these are born out of sacrifice.  As we discuss in this podcast it is sacrifice that brings the heart close and motivates it to love in extravagant ways.  For God so loved the world that He GAVE! Loves gives and is willing to sacrifice no matter the cost! 

Mack challenges believers to go all the way in pursuing the Kingdom of God!  Let's not be those who just sit back as consumers and do nothing to bring change to this needy world.                                                                                         In this episode Mack shares why he started the pocket Bible challenge.  Since starting 150 people have signed up to carry pocket bibles with them and read through a one year Bible reading program.  It is great to have something better than an Iphone to turn to when you have free time in the day!  

Aaron Christenson was with us for 3 months last year for Harp and Farm.  In this episode he shares some of the highlights of being in the program his favorite being that he met Abby who is now his wife.

This realization gave me a new perspective of the world in which the New Testament was written.
