To anyone struggling right now in darkness, despair, confusion, or fear, I KNOW your pain. I understand your journey. I feel your desire to escape.
And, yet in the midst of the darkness and anger, fear and sadness, know this - right now is a moment to choose differently. Right now is a moment to stop repeating and replaying the cycles forced upon you as a child. Right now is a moment where you can detach from the imprint given to you as a child and ask yourself, what you truly want to feel and to be, because right now, the only thing keeping you from freedom, unconditional love, and the deepest inner knowing of peace, is you being willing to say, the pain stops with me.
It's you stopping the excuses and protecting the behaviors of your parents, friends, and family, or anyone else who hurt you and put your eyes on the unconditional and perfect love of God.
And from that perspective, see how everything else was a failed attempt, whether intentionally or unintentionally to do what was right. However, you are still left with the pain, trauma, and cycles from those failed attempts and you are the only one who can begin to release all the pain you've carried with you until this very moment.
It's time for us all to find the vision of what success truly looks like for our lives, without influence or manipulation from another.
It's time for all of us to face our deepest guttural pains and no longer keep them stuffed in, hoping that in some magical way, the pain will just disappear.
It's time for all of us to say out loud and with all our might, how much that pain hurt, what we wished we could have said in those moments, and cry for the innocence that was taken away from the precious child we once were.
And, it's time after facing and putting words to the pain, that we come to a very raw and vulnerable place where we can finally with all our intention fully release the pain and trauma.
When we can release the fear and pain, we create space within us to receive love and it's the love that we receive that heals us, frees us, and empowers us to choose differently, see differently, and act differently.
You are not alone.
You are not the reason for your pain.
But, you are the one who is solely responsible to heal your pain and once and for all feel the freedom that unconditional love can bring.
