Today I will share with you another real story from my life. This time I want to tell you that there is no shortcuts in the business. Not many of you know that I've started to be around business people when I was 8 years old. I was helping my father with his own business which was a local food store. Since then I was around the business I knew that there is no shortcuts. There has to be commitment, dedication and self discipline applied to be able to provide the best services possible. When I was 8 years old I was awaking up at 3 am every day, I was going to the food market with my father every day for fresh products. We were always back at around 7:30 am and all I did was running to school after that. This all showed me that there is no shortcuts in business and if you want to cheat the process you will always fail. Thats why if you think of setting up your own business and you're looking for any possible shortcuts to succeed - YOU BETTER DON'T EVEN START ONE!

This podcast is all about experiencing failures in life and not giving up on what you are doing. Everything you use in your life was invented by someone who didn’t give up on his failure. Thomas Edison failed 1000 times until his 1001 attempt was successful when inventing the light bulb. Some of you were using at least once the WD-40 which name comes from ‘’Water Displacement 40th Formula’’ this means they failed 39 times before they got the right formula. Everything you use these days was invented by someone, but what you don’t know is there was a lot of failures before they finally succeeded.

I’m going share with you a real story from my life. A story that put me in huge financial problems because lack of experience, knowledge and the fact I couldn’t read people. I was young with a big vision. I didn’t stop. I learned a lot and now I know I can do more because of all my previous failures. I am grateful for them, more will follow but no one should be afraid of them. If you fail, it means you’re trying. Remember that by making mistakes and failing, you learn and every failure is one step closer to your victory.

Today’s episode will be all about real estate. I speak with many agents in Spain and all over Europe and I can see that all real estate agents have problems with selling their properties. The agents all continue do the same things, they get a listing, post it on their social media, maybe send one or two emails to other agents or potential clients and wait for results to appear, while being surprised nothing happens. It’s also easy right now for everyone to blame the covid and current situation, but people must realise the real problem is them. People don’t want to change or adapt to the situation and find new ways to make their business grow and obviously survive. In this episode I will tell you why it’s so important to take care of your network, your inner circle and why you should look for more direct connections to grow your business.

2020 was a very bad year for most of the businesses, there has been immense suffering due the covid 19 situation and every industry is standing now. But no matter how bad it gets or if you're a freelancer, small or big business owner , I believe that if you surround yourself with the right people and connect with the right people there is still a bright future ahead.  I can see there is plenty of new people trying to enter the market with new innovative things, but without connections you won't be able to go and launch your product. That's why I believe that networking is very important these days and even if you have a great idea to launch in 2021 or even in the following years, without the right preparation, experience or good connections, it won't be possible to succeed.
