Mikaela Mayer vs. Sandy Ryan  
In a dramatic grudge match, Mikaela Mayer defeated Sandy Ryan by majority decision (97-93, 96-94, 95-95) in New York City. The fight was marked by controversy, including Mayer's fallout with former assistant coach Kay Koroma, who trained Ryan. A pre-fight incident saw Ryan splashed with red paint, leading to an investigation. Mayer controlled the early rounds, while Ryan rallied late, but Mayer secured the win, raising questions about her evolving public image.

Xander Zayas dominated Damian Sosa with a unanimous decision (100-90) and called for a top-five opponent. Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington edged out Sulaiman Segawa (97-93, 97-93, 95-95) but needs improvement. Vito Mielnicki Jr. won a majority decision over Khalil El Harraz in an underwhelming fight. Floyd “Cashflow” Diaz beat Mario Hernandez amid chaos and is now training with Coach Bullet. Rohan Polanco stopped Marcelino Lopez in round six, showcasing potential. Elvis Rodriguez coasted to a unanimous decision (100-90, 99-91, 100-90) over Kendo Castaneda but seeks more urgency for a title shot. Tiger Johnson won a unanimous decision over Yomar Alamo but needs to step up his performance.

Notable fights include Alycia Baumgardner, whose comeback ended in a no-contest against Delfine Persoon due to a head clash. Terri Harper captured the WBO lightweight title by defeating Rhiannon Dixon (97-93, 97-93, 96-94) with effective footwork. Peter McGrail knocked out Brad Foster in the second round, facing pressure from comparisons to Lomachenko. Galal Yafai stopped Sergio Orozco Oliva in round three, setting up a future fight with Sunny Edwards.

An action-packed weekend of fights leave us with a lot to talk about. For starters, Vergil Ortiz won a majority decision over Serhii Bohachuk, was it a good decision, we discuss. Also, Charles Conwell, Kenny Sims Jr., Gabriela Fundora and Cecilia Braekhus fought on the undercard – and Fresno's own Jordan Fuentes had a weird fight with James Mulder – details in the podcast. 

On ESPN, Angelo Leo became the new IBF featherweight titleholder knocking out Luis Alberto Lopez in the tenth round. What should we know about both. Junior welterweight Lindolfo Delgado won a split-decision over Bryan Flores...the bizarre case around Abraham Perez not being able to fight, Albert "Chop Chop" Gonzalez might be a capital G Guy and Alan "Kid Kansas" Garcia wins another fight.
