September amongst other things, is also International Suicide Prevention Month with the day being observed on the 10th of September 2018. The Lunch Break had a chat to Clinical Psychologist Charity Mkone to chat about the stress and anxiety that Matriculants face before their exams, she also give out some important numbers for people to use when they feel like they have nowhere to turn to.

The Lunch Break had the opportunity of talking to one of the mum's of the Downs Syndrome South African Swimming Team. The team has made history at the 8th edition of the Down Syndrome World Swim Champs- bringing home 3 gold, 8 silver, 7 bronze. 7th on Medal table with only 9 swimmers and that's without the regional records yet. However, there were Africa records. Minke needs acknowledgement as the youngest member of our whole team plus the youngest overall at the meet. Melisa o Neill (married to Sean) equalled the 400 m and now shares with with Jenna also part of SA Team. All swimmers attained personal best times.
