From time to time, we all start to wonder if little old "me" matters. We all think that everything that we've done in our life that used to be so defining...so meaningful...is losing its shimmer and shine. It may be true. Maybe your universe really is ending because someone who is just plain better than you has decided to move on out of your universe. Not to get too personal here, but we've all had that person that suddenly realized they could be a better hero than us, so they up and left. That's right. They left. They left without saying goodbye or shaking your hand or writing a note or mowing the yard or scrubbing the floor or fixing the chain they broke or polishing the bars of the cell or even returning the handcuffs they outright stole. Life can just be so cruel. But you DO matter. Your universe does matter. Everything that all those people poured into you wasn't just a waste of time or money or space in the basement where you keep your single issues that you can never really even see the cover or will never be graded by CGC and probably will never even read again. There comes a time in everyone's life where they have to reassess and figure out if it is really worth it to keep going or to hang it up. For Marvel, it was after Endgame. Has it really come to this? I gotta say, I wasn't ever expecting this type of conundrum during my lifetime. Growing up, I always heard that we have to be kind to Mother Nature and that we really should make sure that we don't hurt the environment.
