The magician gives Jesse a magic seed in the shape of a person and runs away. Jesse plants the seed in his backyard and waters it. The seed quickly grows into a tree with people growing out of it instead of leaves. The people are the size of elves and hold hands, singing a language that Jesse believes is the same as the magician's. Jesse tells the people to clean his room and they do so. He then asks them to make toys, and they do so, including a life-sized toy car and a dollhouse. Jesse asks one of the wizards to make it colder, and the wizard creates a heater that makes the world an iceberg.
