I spent the last week finishing a novel that I've been writing for the last couple of... years and while I was doing so (and in fact it was quite a while since I last did it), I couldn't help but wonder how mindfulness helped me becoming a better (in terms of the easiness of it) writer. I've always been a very attentive person, very observer, I've always paid attention to detail and always have been able to patiently sit in a public bench and watch people go by but becoming more mindful (of becoming mindful at all) as really helped me being there, in the present moment.
