In December last year, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that Researchers from Universiti Teknologi Mara's (UiTM) Pharmacogenomics Centre have completed the mapping of the Malay ethnic genome, making it the first time that such a research has been successful.
