Today I am equal parts thrilled and sad as we have come to our last episode of this first season of the Mama Advantage. I started this as a test, a test to see if I liked podcasting and to see if I had enough to say about the Mama Advantage. Well the answers are I do, and there is. There is SO much more to say about the Mama Advantage. So I’ll be returning for a second season this fall. I’d love to hear what you’d like me to focus on for the second season. This season has been amazing. I’ve learned so much from my cohosts and in my own research and exploration. In today’s episode, I'm going to share some my reflections on our first 8 episodes. So lets dive in.

Today’s episode is a really exciting one, but a little different! I hosted an in-person coffee date at my local coworking space, The Hivery, so instead of two co-hosts, we have a round table today. I’m with 7 other Mama CEOs talking about community, our Mama Advantages and what I’ve learned so far from hosting this podcast. I can’t wait for you to listen in and be part of our Mama Advantage community!

Our two co-hosts today are Mama CEOs who are quite literally changing the conversations that are happening in and around businesses. Jules Taggart is my friend and all around mentor, I basically do anything she tells me to, so when she said I need to know Nailah Blades, I did not hesitate to connect, and, boy, am I glad.

Today’s co-hosts, Thais Derich and Laura Riordan, are advocates for women as they go through the huge transition into motherhood. Both embrace and celebrate the amazing power woman have to make decisions about their bodies, their babies and their careers as they step into the world of motherhood.

My co-hosts today are two really incredible women who are truly and inspiration to me. Both of these ladies step up to the plate when they saw changes that were needed in their families, communities and really the whole world. I’m thrilled for you to hear from them.

Today's Mama Minute is a little different. I want to share something I did earlier this year that really pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I used the support of fellow Mama CEOs, many of whom I've interviewed on The Mama Advantage!

One of the things that I know is imperative to success in motherhood, womanhood AND entrepreneurship is the ability to trust yourself and take big leaps.  Today’s cohosts, Grace Kraaijvanger and Jess Ryan, have such strong beliefs around helping women feel empowered use their intuition and try new things, I think this is going to be a great conversation!

I’m so excited to talk to our co-hosts today who know all about the power of women. The power of women to stand up for themselves and BE themselves. About the power we already have to create our birth stories, our motherhood story and in our work stories. They both have such great views and knowledge on this!
