Didsbury Gin is an exemplary example of a small start-up that has taken the market by storm, and to describe the success it has achieved in a short space of time as impressive would be something of an understatement. Co-founder and Dragons Den investee Liam Manton joins us on the podcast to talk the massive success of his brand and what's next for them.

There's no Tim this week, but instead we've got friend of The Manc and Manchester food king Fat Sam Eats in for a very food-heavy episode, because on the other side of Sam is our guest Andy James, owner of one of Greater Manchester's favourite sandwich shops, Ate Days A Week – an eatery in Stockport that has shot to fame in the last couple of years for its inventive interpretation of classic and modern sandwiches.

The Manc team have got no mates again this week, but all is good, Manchester has just reopened and there's a lot to talk about – including what Joe, Tim and Steph's ideal day sesh plans are in the city. The guys also chat about the latest goings on in and around Greater Manchester, what they've been up to recently and as always, Snack of the Week makes an appearance.

Manchester is full of people with weird and wonderful hobbies, like Mike aka  @Bizarre Bazaar , who speaks and writes to the world's most infamous prison inmates on his YouTube channel, and also allows his audience to join the conversation. He popped into the podcast studio for a brew and a chat last week with the guys... and it made for a very interesting hour!

In 2020, Aimie and Kiera Lawlor-Skillen decided that their huge social media community, which focuses on mental health and wellbeing, just wasn't enough. They thought that Manchester city centre was in desperate need of somewhere people could go to unwind, speak about their issues, or just meet new friends. They were right. Feel Good Club, the wellbeing coffee house and bar in the Northern Quarter has created a community of positivity on Hilton Street and was a shoulder to cry on for many during the pandemic – a time in which the two wives fought to keep it open.

With space for events, pop-up galleries featuring local artists, and break out spaces for the local community to connect, Feel Good Club is the first mental health & wellbeing led hospitality venue in Manchester. We're super proud of it, and so are Aimie and Kiera. They came on the podcast this week to discuss its short, but incredible history so far.

Andy Burnham joined the podcast this week to talk all things Greater Manchester with the guys, including what the future holds for the region and our ongoing resilience in the face of adversity.

The Mayor of Greater Manchester also has an illustrious DJ career, which we touched upon, and we couldn't avoid asking him about becoming Vogue's 'corona crush' last year...

Scott Thomas dropped in for a chat this week for our tenth episode of The Manc Podcast to tell us what he's been up to in lockdown... and turns out he's been pretty busy!
