Today I am talking about the difference between a friendship conversation and a coaching conversation.
Coaching skills, like deep listening, where the coach can hear not only what you say but what you don't are just one of the ways that a coaching conversation differs from a conversation between friends.
A coaching session is highly focused and intent on getting a coaching client closer to the results they want to achieve.
Some people who aren't coaches or who have never worked with a coach don't understand the value of paying for coaching services. They somehow find it strange to pay for a "conversation" or to pay to get help.
I have often talked to aspiring coaches who question this themselves and wonder if they can actually get paid to coach. I think it's because they somehow devalue the impact of the powerful conversation that is coaching.
Well, in case you were wondering a coaching conversation is NOT just a regular conversation! Listen to hear more...

One of the biggest questions I get asked in my coaching business is “how do I get paying clients?” Today, I will share the process that me and my clients have used to generate tens of thousands of dollars in sales. What I’ve found in my 10 years of coaching is getting paying clients is the life-blood of any service-based business. The bottom line is this, if you’re not getting paying clients, then you don’t have a business. If you’re missing just one of these steps, then you’re probably not getting paying clients or not getting a steady flow of paying clients.
