In this episode I got to speak with Legislative and Political Organizer Anthoney Mitchell. He spoke of the importance of being involved with the Letter Carrier Political Fund and how legislation has affected the letter carriers.

In this episode I was able to speak with the President of the NALC Disaster Relief Foundation Mrs. Christina Vela Davidson. She provided information on when and how the foundation began. She also informed us about how the Disaster Relief Foundation helps out our members. She shared a little about her personal experience when she assisted after a natural disaster. If you are able to donate to the Disaster Relief Foundation you can do so by credit/debit card by vising the the www.NALC.org and clicking on the Community Service tab, which then you can click on the NALC Disaster Relief Foundation.

In this episode I was able to interview Regional Administrative Assistant (RAA) Tamara Twinn in Region 10 and asked her about how the Stamp Out Hunger Food drive got started.

For this episode I was able interview the Directory of Safety and Health Manuel L. Peralta Jr. and ask him about the ERT and how it got started. I also interviewed Louise Jordan a member of Alamo Branch 421 who is currently on the ERT.
