I am unshaken by the drama of the world

Cleaving to God’s spirit, I am unmoved by the drama of the world. If I encounter worldly chaos, my internal stillness will work to dissolve it. I need not fear any turmoil in the world, as long as there is peace in me.

God‘s eternal peace is the ground on which I stand, as I navigate the shifting sands of time. The world is always changing, but the spirit within me is changeless. I am loved, I am safe, I am blessed, and I am protected. As I look upon others and wish them those things, I will experience them within myself.

Dear God,Made my mind know Your peaceAnd never waver.May my heart know Your loveAnd never deviate.May I dwell in YouAnd You in me,No matter what occurs.Amen.

Today my body is filled with light

I have a body of flesh, and a body of light - a body of my mortal self, and a body of my eternal Self. Today I feel my body brilliant, created by God, and the home of my true being.

Every cell is filled with light. Neither disease nor compulsion can penetrate the shield of God‘s blessing upon me. My holiness is the key to both my mental and my physical health. I am lifted above the body of my sorrows and delivered to my body of joy.

Dear God,I surrender my body to You.Transform each cell into love and light,That nothing but Your perfectionCan dwell within me.Amen.

Today my body is filled with light

I am not at the effect of other peoples’ opinions

God has created me good and in His eyes I am beautiful. If others cannot see my beauty, it is not that it’s not there. I, like everyone, am good at heart.

As I remember my innocence and have faith in my goodness, I shall not be swayed by the negative opinions of others. While some may project their shadows onto me, in truth I dwell in light. I cleave to God today, that I might see myself as He sees me. May His view of me, and His guidance, be the beacon that I follow.

Dear God,

Though others may be convinced of my guilt,May I remember the innocence in which I was createdand shall always remain.It is Your lightAnd Your counselto which I look for guidance.Please remind me who I am.Amen.

Today I will expect and demand less from others

Today I will not grasp at other people or things to complete me. Rather, I’ll remember that in God I am already complete.

As I allow all people and things to be, whoever and however they are, the universe will respond positively to my correct positioning of heart and mind. As I allow all things to be, all things will in turn be wonderful.

Dear God,Please take away my grasping nature.May my mind not seek to controlEither people or events,But rather may I look with love on all things.Then and only then will my world transformFrom darkness to lightAnd from fear to love.Amen

Today I will expect and demand less from others

I place my sadness in the hands of God

Only in feeling my sadness can I learn from it, and deepen through it. My sadness is often my teacher, as I learn to outgrow its causes within myself.

I will not anesthetize myself today. I will not distract myself from the pain of seeing what is difficult to see yet important to look at. Rather, I will look with open eyes on the things I have done to attract my sadness, and commit myself to changing them.

Dear God,Please remove my sadnessBy removing its causes.Reveal to me what I need to seeThat I shall be sad no more.Amen.

I place all problems in the hands of God

No matter what my problem, the perfect solution exists within the Mind of God. My job is not to be burdened by the question, but rather to make myself available to the answer. My worrying only delays an answer, reflecting my lack of faith that there is one. Today I will be still, knowing every answer, every healing, and every solution is on its way.

The universe is self-correcting, and I am a child of the universe. Miracles occur in response to every problem, yet it is my faith and compassion that bring them forth. May my mind be a conduit of love and faith, that my problems may be solved.

Dear God,In You lies the answer to every questionAnd the solution to every problem.I place my anxious mindIn Your care,And pray for the calm through whichTo receive Your answers.And so it is.Amen.

I place all problems in the hands of God

I seek to create a better life

Take a good look at your life right now. If you don’t like something about it, close your eyes and imagine the life you want. Now allow yourself to focus your inner eye on the person you would have to be in order to create your preferred life. Notice the differences in how you behave and present yourself; allow yourself to spend several seconds breathing in the new image, expanding your energy into this new mold. Hold the image for several seconds and ask God to imprint it on your subconscious mind. Do that every day for 5 minutes or so. If you share this technique with certain people, the chances are good they’ll tell you that it’s way too simple. It’s up to you what you choose to believe.

Dear God,Please impress upon meThe vision of whom I am meant to be.Reveal to me the bigger lifeThat You would have me live.Undo the forces that keep me bound,That I might serve you more.Amen.

I seek to create a better life

I meet limited circumstances with unlimited thoughts

While the world is changeable, the truth is not. May I not be tempted by the drama of the world to forget the eternal peace of God. May I hold to the truth of who I really am and how the universe operates, despite whatever the world may say.

In a universe where only love is real, I need not be deterred by the appearances of fear. Where there is lack in the material world, I proclaim the infinite abundance of God’s universe. Where there is discord and conflict on the material plane, I proclaim the love that unites us as one.

Today I meet limits with the thinking of unlimited possibility. Whatever occurs, I remember that miracles are possible regardless of circumstance. I proclaim the miracle, I pray for the miracle, and I rejoice in the miracle. Amen.

I meet limited circumstances with unlimited thoughts

I need not prove anything to anyone. I am blessed as a child of God. 

I needn’t compensate for any lack in myself, for there is no lack in a child of God. I am whole and complete as a spiritual being; I need do nothing to augment what is already perfect.

In any moment when I puff myself up, I appear less radiant. In any moment when I am defenseless and humble, I am radiant with God‘s love and power. Today I will be defenseless and safe in the arms of God.

Dear God,Please remove any armor in front of my heart, and all barriers to my love.Take away my insecurities,and remind me of my intrinsic value.Let me not be tempted to inflate who I am,which will only diminish my power and decrease my joy.Amen

I will not be falsely humble today

The thinking of the world is upside down, and one of the ways in which our thoughts are inverted is in the area of arrogance and humility. It isn’t arrogant, but humble, for me to accept that the power of God is within me. What is arrogant is to think otherwise.

Many of my problems have arisen because I chose to play small, denying the power of my mind, the power of God’s love, and love’s ability to work miracles. I was born with spiritual wings and I am meant to spread them. Today I will not be falsely humble, but will own in all ways the power of my love to work miracles.

Today I recognize that while my power is neither more nor less than anyone else’s, it is the power of God within me. Through the power of my love, I pave the way today out of darkness into light for both myself and those around me. Amen.
