I am not at the effect of other peoples’ opinions

God has created me good and in His eyes I am beautiful. If others cannot see my beauty, it is not that it’s not there. I, like everyone, am good at heart.

As I remember my innocence and have faith in my goodness, I shall not be swayed by the negative opinions of others. While some may project their shadows onto me, in truth I dwell in light. I cleave to God today, that I might see myself as He sees me. May His view of me, and His guidance, be the beacon that I follow.

Dear God,Though others may be convinced of my guilt,May I remember the innocence in which I was createdand shall always remain.It is Your lightAnd Your counselto which I look for guidance.Please remind me who I am.Amen.

Today I will expect and demand less from others

Today I will not grasp at other people or things to complete me. Rather, I’ll remember that in God I am already complete.

As I allow all people and things to be, whoever and however they are, the universe will respond positively to my correct positioning of heart and mind. As I allow all things to be, all things will in turn be wonderful.

Dear God,Please take away my grasping nature.May my mind not seek to controlEither people or events,But rather may I look with love on all things.Then and only then will my world transformFrom darkness to lightAnd from fear to love.Amen

Today I will expect and demand less from others

I am a child of GodWe can help release the drama of our childhood by redefining whose child we are. We are products of our family of origin, to be sure. But who is that, exactly – our mortal parentage, or our immortal one? It’s an important distinction, because we inherit the legacy of whomever we think sourced us.

We might have inherited limitation and fear from our mortal parents, but we have inherited miracles and love from God. Our worldly parents might have been wonderful people or they might have been scoundrels, but the larger point is that they’re not who created us. Superman was only raised by those nice people in Kansas. Understanding that God is our true father/mother, and all humanity our brothers and sisters, delivers us to a more respectful attitude toward our biological family, and more able to receive the inheritance of God.

I trust that it is safe to love

I release my barriers to love today. It is my defenselessness that ensures my safety. I need not fear love, for God‘s wisdom guides my thinking about everyone and everything.

Within the space of love, I own my “yes” and I own my ”no,” both my gentleness and my firmness. I trust God’s guidance to reveal to me where I should and should not be. I trust that it is safe to love.

Dear God,I place in Your handsMy thoughts about everyone and everything.Please give me wisdomAnd give me strength.Show me what I need to see,That I might always remain in light.Amen.

The purpose of my life is to grow into my perfection

The embryo doesn’t struggle to become a baby, and the acorn doesn’t struggle to become an oak tree. Nor do I need to struggle to become the person I am created to be.

I am supported by nature in the process of my self-actualization. As I show up in glory, my life will be glorious. As I celebrate the beauty of life, life will celebrate my beauty. As I relax into the flow of the miraculous, then miracles will find me. I will embody in time the perfection of my true self.

Dear God,I surrender to the thoughts of love,That I might find my way to You.In finding You I will find myself,And then I will know joy.Amen.

The purpose of my life is to grow into my perfection

I allow my dreams to live today 

I will not deflect, diminish, or invalidate my dreams today, or concoct excuses for why they can’t happen. However outrageous they seem to be, I allow them to live within me. Today I will not allow my future to be limited by my beliefs about it.

I honor the images of my deeper self, and invite them to reveal to me the meaning of their message. I make a space within the temple of my mind for God, the dreamer of All of Life, to dream His dreams through me.

Dear God,May I not be restricted by my mortal mind,For in You all things are possible.May I not be limited by the thinking of the world,Or by the illusions of time and space.May the dreamsThat You would dream through mebe unblocked by thoughts of fear.Amen

My work for God is effortless

Ego struggles but spirit creates, and with effortlessness and joy. I rise above the burden of work as I give what I do to God. It doesn’t feel like work to work for love.  

Angels push me from behind today, and guide my thoughts and actions. I relax into the flow of love, allowing myself to float upon the waves of a cosmic sea. I surrender to the experience of easy accomplishment and joy.

Dear God,I surrender to YouMy worldly efforts.May I know not tensionBut joy,As I am carried by the flowOf love.Amen.

My work for God is effortless

I will not resist my growth today

How often it seems easier to resist the call of a greater becoming, remaining within the dark cocoon of a self that has settled for good enough. I choose not to remain at mere “good” today, but rather I will answer the call to greatness.

Not every lesson feels fun while it’s happening, and at times I have resisted growth fiercely. But I remain open today to the miracle of transformation. I know that as I move forward into a new realm of being, Love itself will aid me in my progress. Spirit will erase the patterns of fear that have sabotaged my past.

Dear God,Overcome the fear that would keep me bound,And deliver me to the highest heights.I am ready and willing to forge ahead.I know that You aloneCan unbind my feet.Thank you, God.Amen.

I will not resist my growth today

I am here to collaborate with others. I am not for myself alone.

A cancer cell is a cell that has gone insane. It has disconnected from its natural intelligence. It has forgotten that it’s here to collaborate with other cells, existing to serve the healthy functioning of the system of which it is part. It has separated from the role to which nature has assigned it, gathering other cells as sick as it is to build its own kingdom in a world apart. This false kingdom, this malignant tumor, seeks to preserve itself by growing more of itself. Thus it threatens not only its host but also itself. 

This is not simply a description of cells in the body. It is a description of the malignancy of consciousness that has infected the human race, separating human beings from our natural intelligence. This emotional malignancy threatens the whole of humanity, just as the disease of cancer threatens the body. The disease is the false belief that we are separate from each other, with no responsibility to anyone but ourselves. This distortion is a cancer that would lead to the destruction of our species. Now is the time to remember our true function, to return to our collaborative mission working with others in support of the larger reality of which we are all a part. In that way we will all be healed.

I am here to collaborate with others. I am not for myself alone.

I participate in God’s work today

Today I do not look for ways that life can serve me, but rather for ways that I can serve life. I place myself in service to God and His awesome creativity, praying to be the pencil with which He writes and the paintbrush with which He paints.

May all that is the work of God be furthered by my choices today. I put aside my search for little things and participate freely in the glory of creation.

Dear God May my thoughts and actions Help furtherA work that is greater than my own.May all I amAnd all I doBe a channel for all things good.Amen.
