Fair warning, about half this episode is Mariners talk, and then I unveil a new segment "random weekly notes" and that really takes over. The September schedule has not been kind to our Seattle Mariners. But they look to bounce back this week in Oakland, which I have dubbed as the most important series of the year. Can they start playing better ball? Can they recapture a playoff spot going into the final week of the season? All of these questions will be answered by next weeks episode.
