A theological reflection on the atrocities taking place in Israel, and the perpetuation of violence that come by our responses to all atrocities. God help us!

These last 3 verses of Colossians 3:1-17 are the chef's kiss, full of peace, trust, rich formation by the Word, and a call to do everything in the Name of the King.

Love is a popular word today. It shows up in commercial, rally's, songs, politics, church, and many other places. But what is it? If we understand what it is, then we're free to interact with one of the powerful and perfecting forces of the universe.

Paul uses the language of "putting on" clothes to describe our "becoming" process in Christ. We have to take off the old clothes [strategies] and put on the new ones. This means we need to be active, we gotta do something if we would becoming like Christ.

The Gospel is the primary means God uses to tug on human hearts, and move us towards him in saving ways. Therefore, it's important that the Gospel we've believed is the one that God sent to us. In this recap we take a brief look at how two of the dominant gospels leave Christ on the periphery.

In Colossians 3:5-11, Paul is telling us how to be who we are. The trick is to not begin by building up and out, but within.

The first passage I began memorizing is Colossians 3:1-17. Were going to do a 4 part mini-series looking at its powerful message.

Everyone wants to prosper, the bible offers a way to make that happen.
