I sit down with my dear friend, and Culture Queen herself, Lya Badgley. Lya has a story to tell and many of her life experiences helped shape her first 2 debut novels, "The Foreigner's Confession" & "The Worth of a Ruby." We dive into what it was like being born and raised in Southeast Asia and what it truly takes to be an Indie Author.
Lya's Website includes where to find her books as well as book club inquiries

I was excited to sit down (again, IYKYK) with Erik Newquist, creator of Aesir Meadery. Mead, not "meat" as it's often misheard at farmers markets is alcohol made with honey. It's an extremely important part of our ecosystem and helps support the bees and our farmers.
Learn more about science, the alcohol industry, and some of the rabbit holes we go down with Erik's colorful history.
Stay tuned after the outro for some fun pre-recording hilarity.

New year, new - NO.
Resolutions aren't my thing - but what is? I'm all for vision boards and starting where we are, instead of changing who we are.
In this episode I talk about my Ins and Outs of 2024 along with my word of the year.

Sometimes the subjects that make us uncomfortable are the ones we need to be talking about more. In this kickoff episode to Season #2 of The Market Maven Podcast, I sit down with Wil Johnson, Director of Equity & Inclusion for the Snohomish School District. We talk about how to be better humans.
You can find more on Wil's brand "At Homish" along with his podcast here!

In this episode of The Market Maven Podcast I sit down with another amazing Maven, Rachel of Maven Concrete Collective!
Specializing in jewelry and home decor made out of - you guessed it - concrete, Rachel has been one of those MAJOR glow-up vendors at my markets. She's come along way and we're here to share her journey!
She's also a new friend and member of the BLOS Golden Elite - I'm so excited to work with her this coming year on expanding our businesses and helping BLOS grow!

Through a series of unfortunate events, my scheduled episode didn't go as planned. After 32 episodes I had my first "oh crap" moment. In the effort of trying to find the silver linings I took some time to reflect on what it means to make mistakes and the lessons we can learn from them.
Other musings as well.
PS - it's episode #34 despite what I recorded! More fun learning!

An unplanned episode where I elaborate on a recent Instagram story and also touch on boundaries and sitting in the uncomfortable space that many of us aren't used to.
