In today’s podcast, we talk about the ultra-important concept called the Value Ladder.
Imagine trying to sell a prospect in your first meeting a $60,000 all-in marketing service that is good for a year?
In my eyes that is a great offer! How about in their eyes?
The fact is they are unlikely to know, like and trust me well enough to make a purchase like that. Put yourself in your customer's shoes and you will understand that it is a crazy offer to make even though you may think it is a great offer.
That is where the value ladder comes into play. It is breaking down your services into smaller offers. During this time working with your prospect, you deepen your relationship and improve your chances of an ongoing and even more valuable relationship.
Listen to this podcast and get to know how to craft your own value ladder. Apply it, and then watch the uptake of your prospects dramatically improve.
You might get intrigued by the subject so let me explain it to you on this podcast. It is about a technique that will have clients and prospects come to you instead of pushing yourself to them.
A couple of years ago, I read the book by the late, great ad man David Ogilvy's: "Rules for respect in business."
The rule that resonated with me the most was:
"In meeting with clients, do not assume the posture of servants. They need you as much as you need them."
I'm sure you have your fair share of experiences with pushy salespeople, and your defence mechanism kicks in. They are so needy. That is why they are pushy.
So in this podcast, I will introduce my bass guitar instructor to you, who manages to stay in demand even if he has numerous cheaper competitors. Above all, it is about how you position your USP in this crowded marketplace. Uncover more about why being Needy is death.
In this week's podcast, I talk about Cut-Through!
As an entrepreneur, probably the biggest evil is that dastardly area called the comfort zone. You can't afford to rest on your laurels.
A year or so ago, I was speaking on a stage at an entrepreneur business event. I opened with this statement, "Money Loves Speed." Ironically, that statement is probably three times more appropriate today.
Now, if there's one constant in marketing, it is "Change." One of those changes over the past decade has been the slow erosion of Facebook and Google advertising. Now, look, I'm not one of those people saying that they are dead. If done correctly, it's still one of my favourite models.
So much so, I've got an excellent strategy for you.
Listen to this podcast and make a difference in your business.
This week's podcast will talk about a story that everyone can relate to involving the federal government's current marketing challenges. It is about the Covid Vaccination.
I got my 2nd vaccination! I am fully vaccinated.
When I arrive at the vaccination Centre to check in, they asked, what vaccine are you here to take? AstraZeneca or Pfizer? Well, I was there for my second shot of AstraZeneca. They said, "Straight in, mate. There is no one here." Five minutes later, done with my vaccination.
In doing so, I looked across. I saw plenty of people crammed like sheep in the Pfizer line. These people have clearly decided that vaccination is a good idea, but they are hesitant to take AstraZeneca. The vaccine that the government would like them to take.
What is this telling us?
Listen to this podcast and join me to identify the learnings we can get from the government's marketing challenges. Also, learn more on how to turn the Nos into Yeses!
This week’s Marketing 24-7 podcast is about how to get people’s attention.
Back in the 1980s, when I started my business. I stumbled onto something. Even though I had studied business in truth, I knew almost nothing about marketing and even less about sales. But I was successful, fortunately. Because I stumbled onto this thing called “campaign,” or what others may call a “sequence.”

In this week’s Marketing 24-7 podcast, I will talk about a concept called the Dream 100.
The aim of Dream 100 is to move your clients or the people you are trying to influence to a continuum of:
It was first introduced by Chet Homes in his book, The Ultimate Sales Machine (well worth a read). I have used this concept with my clients, and it has brought them success. Even Lady Gaga uses this concept in launching her albums.
Listen to this podcast and get to know how to apply a different marketing strategy that works like a bomb!
In this week’s Marketing 24-7 podcast, I talk about using vitality in marketing.
"The epiphany bridge" is one of the powerful concepts that you can master on your journey to becoming an expert in marketing.
In my case, it was way back in my fitness days. I started a fact sheet for my clients named Exercise Danger. It was about not hurting yourself while you are exercising. It was so timely because at that time Jane Fonda was making a fortune producing aerobics videos that were distributed all over the world, but in doing so lots of people were injuring themselves.
This fact sheet which I later self-published as a book gave me numerous opportunities such as being interviewed extensively by newspapers, radio stations and magazines from all over the globe.
In this podcast, I will share with you how I was able to tell my story passionately and utilising my vitality to bring you success.

I will unveil something that will give you results in direct proportion to the amount of energy that you put in and create something unique and individual.
What You Focus On Improves
In this episode we talk about scorecards.
What you decide to measure will grow. That is a fact! Many may not like the numbers, and it may stress you out. Don’t bury your head in the sand to avoid the numbers. This has to stop!
Athletes do this all the time. They always try to beat their best times. It is the same in business.
In this week’s podcast, I am urging you to create a scorecard today that you can see daily. Make it as fun as possible. Creating scorecards enables you to measure your growth. Pick the metrics you want to measure. Each day record the numbers. Try to beat your own best goals. Use your focus on your metrics to give yourself the motivation to grow your business.
