When I grew up, it was known as "Keeping up with the Joneses," but today, I think it's trying to be on the right side of the algorithm. Being on the right side of the algorithm opens one up to the possibilities of more likes, followers, and money if done right, but at what cost does one want to be successful. In this episode, I talk about the algorithm and how it might not benefit one's mental health.

This week is extraordinary as it is the kickoff for Black History Month. Usually, most people would talk about history, including slavery, Jim Crow, and the civil rights movement; however, I wanted to talk about some issues still plaguing the community today, including spending our money.  As always, I give a personal account of my finances and my journey in making better decisions to impact my immediate family and my community.

I've wanted to do a video on this topic since 2020, but I never got around to it. So, this week I wanted to talk to those in school to give pointers on how to transition from a student to a profession. Of course, one should never stop learning; however, after you graduate, it feels better knowing you have that dream job lined up than end up with nothing.
