Podcast Description:
In this episode, I discuss the importance of purging in every aspect of your life, I interview, special guest, Donna Hodge Harper, author of, "Wherever Relevance is Present," what inspired her to write and how God gave her the vision for her title and cover.
Today's special guest is Donna Hodge Harper, who released her first book, titled, "Wherever Relevance Is Present." Donna Harper was formerly a paralegal and a legal administrative who turned into an author. Her inspiration behind her book began with getting laid off more than once.
Donna Harper goes into detail and explains the reasoning behind why she wrote this book. "I am talking to fear, telling fear- I am watching you." And that is also what the eye symbolizes on the cover of the book. In the book, she talks about her journey, mistakes she has overcome, and wanted to let people know that they are not alone in their struggles.
"At that moment, at that time, I felt like a failure…who will hire me at this age? I wanted to do something that will make me proud of myself. If I write this book…that will give me a feeling of accomplishment," Harper mentioned. She also stated once she changed her thinking, doors started to open, God gave her the title through a vision, and she couldn't keep thinking this was a dead end. She put forth action and things started to happen.
Readers were saying, "I could not put the book down," "I took it with me in the bathroom," and asking, "Is this really true?"
We all have things that we desire to share, and it can be shared through a book. I always say that we all have a book within us- anybody can write a book. Remember for God to move forward in your life; you have to let some things go.

Scripture Of The Day:
'Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways. '
