With Father's Day around the corner (and also the arrival of my 20th podcast episode!),  I found it appropriate to launch my "Daddy Talk series. This series is all about my personal journey exploring the concept of gay fatherhood (and becoming a gay father myself). This is a subject that is very close and dear to my heart, as I believe that being a parent is one of the most important roles and experiences a person can have in life. I have always envisioned myself becoming a father someday, but did not know exactly where nor how to begin this next chapter in life. Luckily, I have some amazing, gay fathers in my social sphere to help me along my way to becoming a father on my own. Enter my amigo, Len Evans (of Project Publicity). He is the first guest for "Daddy Talk", as he recently became a father himself via adoption. It's a great conversation that is touching, empowering and motivational all at the same time. You're going to love hearing Len's personal fatherhood journey adopting his amazing son, Connor! Plus, we hope to leave you (and myself) one huge step forward at becoming a father to an amazing child of your (and my) own!

As mentioned during my very first episode, my podcast is all about shedding light and providing a platform for the topics and issues that need to be discussed. Trans issues are at the forefront of the current fight for equality, fairness and justice within the LGBTQ+ movement. Therefore, I found it fitting to have an honest, informative and empathetic conversation on the experience of being a trans person in 2021. I am joined by my amiga, Ms. Erica Gabriel, as my co-pilot for this very moving and enlightening conversation where she opens about her life experience and story of being a proud and out, trans woman of color. From her small town roots growing up in Texas, to her self discovery as being trans, her family life, misconceptions on the trans community and the importance of self-confidence and visibility in order to own your true identity, Erica shares what it's like to walk in her fabulous, high-heeled shows as the confident woman she is today. We also have a little fun and talk about love, dating, politics, her personal heroes and even Caitlyn Jenner.
