Staff Member are a new Victoria based hip-hop group making forward thinking contemporary hip-hop that I’ve never, ever seen come out of this city. It's underground, it's well-informed, it's not fronting, and I’m excited. I sat down with them for an awesome 45 minute long conversation in the back of Botched, where they record, to discuss underground hip-hop, cool-guying, post-internet culture, building community, substance abuse, and more. These guys are genuine as hell, and their self-titled debut is a marvel.
